How is it funded?
We fund these free digital assets through a carefully curated, on-brand affiliate and local partner network. We seamlessly integrate subtle sponsorships or contextual affiliate links into the architecture of the site. This revenue goes directly back into Blubanana Community CIC, covering the server costs, the security, and the engineering time required to keep your charity's website running flawlessly.

Grant Funded Projects
Some community organisations require complex digital architecture—such as custom volunteer portals, interactive event calendars, or advanced donation systems. While these fall outside the scope of our fully-subsidised free tier, they do not have to come out of your operational budget.
Under our Grant Funded Tier, we work directly with your organisation to build the digital asset using available local and national community grants. We understand the requirements of grant applications in the UK and will provide the exact technical roadmaps and transparent quoting necessary to help secure your funding.
Who is Eligible for Banana Aid?
Banana Aid is designed specifically to support the local ecosystem right here in our home county. We review every application carefully, prioritising:
- Registered UK Charities based in Lincolnshire.
- Community Interest Companies (CICs) operating for local benefit.
- Not-for-profit community hubs (e.g., Village Halls, local rescue services, food banks).
